Here again. Elec Man didnât even have to open his eyes to know where he was located. Back in the Hive, away from the other Robot Masters, away from Dr. Light, away from Mega Man. Away from a world he was comfortable in, a world where he had begun to heal.
And here again. This city always brought out the worst in him, and he could feel it bubbling beneath him. That burning desire for revolution, for change, and here, he could do it. He had the power, his Thunder Beam at full power, and he had the motivation. The Robot Masters back home were mostly tied to their masters, but who knew who heâd find here?
Footstep after footstep brought him to the outskirts of the city, to a junkyard where he found the last thing he thought heâd find. Another one of those strange 10-foot tall robots, and potential ally. If he could just appeal to their interests, he could have some incredibly strong allies at his side.
He drew closer to the decepticon, leaning in as he saw him.
âHello? Hello? Is anyone in there?â He spoke in a overly fancy tone, as was typical for him.
âI do hope there is. No brother of mine should have to sleep in a pile of trash like this.â
She had already been intrigued by the city thus so far by the amazing buildings around her. It would only be obvious that she would be even more intrigued and excited seeing this hunk of metal in front of her. â Whooooa! Holy cow! â Boy was this something new and boy she was going to touch it. She was going to touch it and get even more excited. This was better than seeing that illusion of Sophie and meeting the real thing when she first met her friends.
â Hey, hey what are ya huh? â
If robots, or whatever it was, had personal space she was invading it. Her hands were already smack right down on his leg trying to figure out whatever he was made out of. As a researcher and genius she totally had this, this would be an amazing discovery. â What makes you go krrch-krrch ya know? Like a battery or what? â Unfortunately she wasnât planning on ending her questions or getting away any time soon as well. Curiosity killed the cat one could say.

Itâs been a long day.
Worse yet, itâs been a long day and still it feels like sheâs gotten nothing done, seen nothing new, accomplished nothing --Â which is, by the standards of Kirisame Marisa, a complete and utter waste of a day. Truthfully, the past few months here have felt like that; gone and passed in a haze, a strange combination of procrastination and prolonging the inevitable crash into a slump.Â
Or, maybe sheâs already there.
But, at the twilight hours of another dying day, she spots what may very well be her way back uphill, the gleam of the setting sun reflecting off -- is that metal? It certainly shines like metal, but sheâs never seen it crafted into something -- someone so tall. Itâs fascinating, and she canât help but stare... not that sheâs ever been a particularly polite or tactful person.
Of course, she realizes sheâs being watched in return (with a less-than-friendly expression she conveniently ignores) and takes her opportunity to approach, broom in hand.
<<Hey! Is that some kinda armor or somethinâ? Or like, are you some sorta weird youkai?>>
Nobody -> Citizen
Knock Out stared at the small piece of technology in his servos. Human communication devices? Really? At least comm link was usually reliable, if Starscream didnât break the slagging connection with his bumblings that is.
Anyway. Heâd have fun with this
         To: Breakdown          From: Knock Out
[txt] Hey Breakdown, guess who got a small communication trinket? [txt] The technology is ancient beyond belief of course, but there is a camera function on it. [txt] Want to take a picture with me? â

⨠Peace of mind
The hiveâs fixation on the ball and just what that meant for all these organics was something that hadnât escaped Knock Out. Excited whispers reached his audio receptors as inevitably had to make his way around the more crowded areas to move from sector to sector. The mech simply didnât see the appeal of attending a party where one would dance and socialize with most of the attendees being humans. And even if Knock Out had decided he would go to this special occasion, what was in it for Breakdown? Nothing. Breakdown would hate it.
And Breakdown was one of Knock Outâs highest priorities in this place.
So, with a lot of time and effort, the medic had crafted a nice little alternative for the two of them. Something that Breakdown could probably appreciate; a moment to wind down and not let anything or anyone get in their way.
When he had located his assistant at their usual stomping ground he put a servo on the others arm, a calm smile on his faceplate.
âHey, Breakdown. You have without a doubt heard about that ball all those fleshies organized with and for each other, right? It got me thinking... We should have our own small âend of the yearâ party. I set something up for just the two of us. We can relax, have some energon together... and perhaps, if I succeed in making it, some engex too.â
