This workshop was all about understanding the context by reviewing notes from the initial requirements gathering stage, as well as reflecting on key insights and corresponding requirements that have been found during this stage.
After completing this initial brainstorming session, a concept planning guide was created to develop the ideas found. The guide was aimed to trigger thoughts about different aspects of our ideas and develop these into something we could work with and base a project around.
This service is for students on any year of study, in any degree discipline. International students are included, so multiple language barriers will be considered. Information will not be shared between students, with information being specific to each user of the app.
To improve time management
To provide suitable rest times between student working hours
To encourage students to schedule free time effectively
Allow students to define working hours they have left personally, taking away other activites in their day. The app will require a list of activities to be entered, as well as estimated completion times. Once this has been entered a clear colour coded interface will display the amount of free time a student has each day. Notifications can also be set, for example “Good morning, you have 4 hours free time today!”.
Activities can be synced with ical or other calendar services.
Ability to enter additional activities not included in their calendar, such as going to the gym.
Enter assignment deadlines and estimated assignment completion time in hours.
