1. If someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?
They would read articles about being a black girl, they would watch the CW (haha), and they would listen to Frank Ocean, Lianne la Havas (+more I’m not going to list), and the podcast, the Read.Â
2. Have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?
Honestly, no. I haven’t read a book in a really long time. I read a lot of articles, though. That’s where my literary mind has shifted to. That’s how I try to compensate.
3. List your fandoms and one character from each that you identify with.
I’m actually not going to claim affiliation with the Supernatural fandom, because I’ve really calmed down off of them. I don’t relate with, like, any of characters that I watch on TV because they don’t really represent me in any way, now that I think about it. The last time I really related with someone on a show was when I was watching Hello Cupid, an webseries on Black & Sexy TV (a youtube channel). I should continue to watch them, but I slacked (they started charging money and I was especially cheap at the time). I identified with the main protagonist, Whitney. I guess I find it difficult to relate to characters because they aren’t black.Â
20. Would you rather be in Middle Earth, Narnia, Hogwarts, or somewhere else?
Narnia would be cool. I loved those books. (:
