Hey! Thanks a lot for the recs, good to see you around. I'm bookmarking these to keep in mind- I do really like sci-fi (as well as fantasy) and have been looking for more, so thanks a  lot for that. I think Keikkaishi is the only one from your list I've checked out- I liked it, but kind of drifted off to other things.

I don't think my cat cares that much about me haha. He had more to be worried about last year if that was the case. It might be that his fear of the dog is stressing him out. Or that I have to lock him out in the mornings because he makes a lot of noise if I lock him in with me and my roommares are too noisy to keep the door open. I guess I could readjust my sleep schedule and get up with them but that would take...a lot of doing.

He ran around challenging people to duels because "He's the Avatar and you gotta deal with it." kinda like how Korra spent a whole season probending and now she's back to fighting randomly. Oh and after his girlfriend got kidnapped, he abandoned his duties as the Avatar and went looking for her, kinda like how Korra abandoned her duties as the Avatar because apparently being depressed = character development.

I keep forgetting to do the "be totally polite" thing but honestly I don't have the energy to figure out how to politely respond to something like this. It's probably not worth the extra effort.

hopefully a retraction will happen, my editor seems like a cool person so it's possible. The comments section is responding really well at least (so,like, the opposite of most sites). It could be an oversight. If it does become a trend I might have to, y'know, stop writing for them right then.

Yeah, I USED to learn best via memorization. Then my brain changed - I don't know why. Very slow-moving adolescence? Depression? I'd really like to know what's up with my brain, TBH. I kind of wish schools had free 'courses' on how to study best with different learning styles. That would go a long way towards helping some people (self included).
