hey. it’s february already. alot has been happening. i haven’t been diligently scrolling here. but...all i can say is, things are getting into place. 

honestly, i don’t handle loss that easily. be it someone who’s close to me or someone that i used to know. 

yesterday, my partner lost his dear nenek. even though i never felt the love of a grandparent, i think it is going to be hard for him and his family. 

i remembered the first time i talked to his nenek. she remembers things so well that whenever i’m there, she knew me as the girl who sent her for her checkup. she even apologised for troubling me if she needs me to chauffeur her. she always share her stories of how she survived the Japanese colonial times. she speaks fondly of her late son and would shed a tear whenever she hears the songs that he sung. so...now nenek, you are reunited with your loved ones in the other world. and for the living, we can only bekalkan Al-Fatiha untuk nenek ye.

i am thankful for having you.

for once, Alhamdulilah, i really am thankful in the state that i am right now.

starting my new career. having a patient boyfriend who has been there all along and supportive parents that has been listening to me whine everyday.

how funny that i experience those laughters with him. i've never felt that way with a boyfriend before. but now i do.
