Google AMP parameter (?usqp=). What is it?

From last month, I noticed that Google has appended new parameter (?usqp=) in AMP pages.  This seems to be a tracking code from which Google is trying to attain some important key metrics (clicks, impression etc.) from search results for AMP pages by adding params at the end of URL.
