OVERVIEW:
Amir has always been able to see the beauty in things and, when they can’t, they simply move onto the next. Life, and all the lives they have seen and places they have experienced, was meant to treasure the beauty above the destruction and pain that lower beings seemed to want to bury themselves in. Amir moved through places and times in this way, growing tired of the mundane as soon as it reared it’s ugly head. They crave perfection and, in this pursuit, they choose to create it where they can, crafting the beautiful things that are absent in the places they reside. The Ridge was new place for the Djinn and the promise of beauty is ripe, if only due to the multitude of races that call it home. Amir has promised that, if anything dares threaten the idyllic nature of The Ridge, he would take a stand and protect his new muse.
CONNECTIONS:
Salix Willowbark - It’s the life is Salix that is the most beautiful, but this is near destroyed by how willing the Fae seems to leave a trail of chaos with every footsteps. It’s because of this that Amir can only tolerate him in small doses, but Salix does provide a burst of muse whenever he does need a boost of inspiration.
Timor Canticum - There is something tragic about a being that doesn’t acknowledge the beauty within themselves, one that is constantly at war with their ways; Amir finds it detestable, and can’t stand the sight of the younger Demon who continues to fight their nature.
Alexander Charon - Amir prides himself on being able to find the beauty in all things, even the Demons of The Ridge. The Djinn doesn’t see them as most would, as pariahs of chaos and sin, but as beings with a singular focus ... much like the rest of them. Amir’s tentative friendship with Alexander only strengthens their belief in allowing the Demons to exist as they wish.
