I went through your posts about Apple and ReboApp ; they were a really treat ~

I still have one question about Apple : I see her with short hair and with long hair. Does that correspond to a different time period between the two versions ? Or even different AUs ? Sorry if you've already said that somewhere (⁠•▽•⁠;⁠)

Now, to answer your question... to put it very simply and to avoid any type of spoilers (haha, is it even spoilers?? idk man) yes! It's to do with time period.

To tell you a little about how my fic series (which I call In Somnis!) it takes place pre-arcobaleno curse. So at the start of that story Apple has short hair. This hair grows over time and gets longer as we move along the timeline and... Well! I'll just keep it at that for now ❤️ But yes essentially it's short hair first and then -> long hair. Especially for post-canon things.

All that being said for art and things like commissions I get, I like to sorta just pick and choose randomly what hair I want her to have based on the vibes unless I need it to imply it's during a certain time frame. Does that make sense?

AU's and such are totally different case as her hair doesn't follow the same rules but I do often use it to indicate other things about her character! in the end... The hair length is actually kinda important. It indicated time period but also is connected to character development but even so I still like to mix and match it to whatever just for fun too 😋😋
