And this, of course, is in the USA - in Europe such laptops will be more expensive.

With Arc 5 graphics Emdoor has revealed the first portable gaming console based on the yet-to-be-presented Intel Meteor Lake processor. Whether this solution is the most powerful is also unclear. Will Intel be able to beat AMD? The console also received an eight-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and 32 GB of RAM. Considering that high-performance mobile Intel processors have never been cheap, it is unlikely that such a console will be at the same price as Asus ROG Ally. At the demonstration, one could see how the God of War game was launched on the console, but it is unclear at what frame rate and in what settings it all worked. Let us remember that there were earlier rumors that the top Meteor Lake will receive an iGPU, which will easily surpass the Radeon 780M in performance and will be close to the 35-watt RTX 3050 Laptop, that is, this will be a new level for integrated graphics processors.

It should cost more than $270, but a lot less than $450. While Nvidia is preparing a stripped-down GeForce RTX 3050 with 6 GB of memory and a 96-bit bus, AMD seems ready to release a beefed-up Radeon RX 7600.  [caption id="attachment_64161" align="aligncenter" width="780"] AMD[/caption] According to the Benchlife resource, the company may release such an adapter with 16 GB of memory. There are no other details, but with this model, model everything is very simple.  AMD could release a truly cheap video card with 16 GB of memory. The current RX 7600 is based on the full version of the Navi 33 GPU, that is, the new modification will not have more stream processors. The 128-bit bus also does not need to be changed to double the memory capacity. Thus, the Radeon RX 7600 16GB will differ from the current version either solely in memory capacity or also in frequencies, but it is unlikely to be significant.  At the moment, AMD has a huge gap between the $270 RX 7600 and the $450 RX 7700 XT. At the same time, the company has already stated that it will no longer release full-fledged new models within the RX 7000 line, that is, apparently no one will close the hole of the conditional RX 7600 XT or RX 7700. But the RX 7600 16GB will not be a new model, but it will partially solve the existing problem.  True, as we have already seen from the tests of the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, in this segment this amount of memory is almost always useless, and the RX 7600 is even weaker than the mentioned Nvidia model. But the new AMD product could cost about $330-350, that is, it will be a unique offer with 16 GB of memory on the market.

New AMD processors with the most powerful graphics core are being prepared for release. Unfortunately, there are no details about the processors themselves yet, but in fact, it’s pretty clear what they will be like. As always before, the easiest way for AMD is to take mobile APUs and turn them into desktop ones by increasing the frequencies and power limits. That is, the desktop Ryzen 7000G will be a technical copy of the mobile Ryzen 7040. That is, we will have up to eight cores and a Radeon 780M GPU, which can be fully revealed with an increase in TDP. Let us remind you that now there are Ryzen 5000G on the market with the old Vega iGPUs because the Ryzen 6000G line has not appeared.
