Kate had just gotten everything settled in the guest rooms that were assigned to her. And Rick had been whisked away by Shane for...by the smell of it nothing proper. Which wouldâve been fine, if she hadnât noticed the look on Rickâs face that she knew from when they were children. The âI donât like it but itâll make my parents/family/friends happyâ look. She needed to talk to someone about what had been going on. Get a more experienced view. She slipped out of her room and looked around, walking the halls a bit until she saw one of the maids that seemed nice, and Rick had pointed her out as someone who was friendly âExcuse me, Amber, thatâs youâre name, right? Amber?â She sped up a little bit to catch up with the woman.
