Imagine that you are alone in a mountain meadow on a warm summer day. Above you, soft rain clouds drift across a deep blue sky. A gentle breeze signals the onset of rain. The drops fall slowly from the sky. You can see them as they splash against the rocks and blend the blades of grass. You can hear them pattering purposefully on the bright petals of the mountain wildflowers. You open your mouth and feel the quick splash of raindrops on your tongue and against your cheeks. They make you laugh with joy at the delightful feel of their cool contact with your body. They splash into your eyes and flow across your forehead. The raindrops fall faster now, with an insistent rhythm. On impulse, you strip the clothes from your body and dance in this gentle, healing summer rain. All of Nature seems to dance with you. The flowers and the grasses sway to and fro in tune with the rhythm of the raindrops falling on the ground. You dance to celebrate your feelings of joy at being healthy, clear, and vitally connected to the nature of your Self. You improvise your dance as an expression of your healing emotions. You dance to express gladness and delight. You dance to express your Self. The rain softens and ceases, and the Sun emerges from behind a silvery white cloud. Then, as the rays of the Sun reflect thought the veils of the sky, you dance to celebrate the rainbow that appears across the horizon. You rest and reflect on the many colors of the rainbow. As you do so, you recognize the many aspects of your Self that reflect moods and feelings like the banded hues of the rainbow. Resting there in the warm sunlit meadow, you accept your wholeness, the full spectrum of your inner being as it reflects in many tones and emotions, many shades of feelings, many forms, light and dark, forming a single, beautiful reflection of your Self.
