š± StartāUp Progress Update: The Managerās Journey Inc.
This week has been an important checkpoint in my journey with The Managerās Journey Inc., and Iāve been taking time to reflect on whatās moving forward smoothly and what still needs more work. One thing that is definitely working is the clarity of the concept itself. The more I refine the missionāhelping new and aspiring managers develop leadership confidence, the more I see how relevant and needed this project is. Iām also getting better at organizing my ideas and shaping them into practical tools, frameworks, and content. Every time I sit down to work on the venture, I feel the vision becoming more concrete.
Of course, not everything is working perfectly. Iām still struggling with consistency and time management, especially balancing this project with school and my role at RBC. Some parts of the business, like defining the exact services or building a structured content calendar, feel slower than I expected. I also realize that launching a business requires more patience than I initially thought. There are moments when I feel unsure about the next step or overwhelmed by how much there is to learn. But even those challenges are teaching me something valuable about the process.
Overall, I feel the project is coming together in a meaningful way. Iām learning that running a business is not just about having a good idea, itās about discipline, planning, and being willing to adjust when things donāt go as expected. Iām also learning a lot about myself. Iām discovering that I enjoy building something from scratch, and that Iām capable of more creativity and leadership than I usually give myself credit for. At the same time, Iām realizing that I need structure, accountability, and clear goals to stay on track. The Managerās Journey Inc. is pushing me to grow not only as an entrepreneur, but also as a person.
