Alexa is not Responding on Voice
If your Alexa is not responding to voice commands, make sure your Echo has an internet connection. It is a simple step and worth it to make sure that if your Echo and Alexa is plugged in and have an internet connection. Having no internet connection might be the issue of Alexa’s ignoring you.
Make sure that your Echo’s microphone is turned on. If your Alexa is showing red light then probably your microphone isn’t working. Press the microphone button on the top to turn it on. The LED indicator will show a solid blue light, and your Alexa is ready to respond.
See if your Alexa and Echo device is in the range of your existing WiFi if not, move it closer.
Restart the device. Sometimes a simple reboot can fix the problems.
Make sure that you are speaking clearly. Alexa might not understand your command.
If Echo doesn’t respond correctly even after Alexa setup, try to change wake word and see if it helps to resolve the issue.
