It’s implied as a possibility, I don’t think the game ever makes it completely clear when nihilego first started to work on Lusamine? Her ramblings in ultra space are absolutely the work of the neurotoxin, though. I feel like it’s up to individual interpretation how much of Lusamine was coming through at that point. Since Guzma experienced intense fear, it feels reasonable that the neurotoxin releases/amps up the worst parts of you? I personally think that Lusamine shows a lot of signs of BPD/OCD (though frankly that leans more into headcanon more than canon evidence lol,) and her Ultra Space speech sounds a LOT like an extremely amped-up BPD breakdown?

Oh for sure. There’s her whole ice taxidermy gallery, as well - which is horrifying bc the game implies that those pokemon are still alive. I’m not trying to argue that Lusamine is blameless, just that the situation is more complex than fandom portrays it as.
