in the s5 hospital elevator scene, silver telling johnny congrats on the new opportunity and joy him and his partner get to enjoy and johnny saying "who told you about the baby?" for a split second, i just know silver thought lawrusso was finally having a baby together. he was probably ready to scheme ways to train fighters that could defeat this double legacy super baby in fifteen-ish years

amandadaniel and johnnycarmen are so criminally underrepresented, they're so cute when they act like teenagers in love and not just business partners

could you imagine miguel trying to track carmen and johnny's relationship? "so he came here to apologize for me getting my ass kicked on halloween...then you brought him tres leches to ask him why i was getting aggressive...and he broke up you and that foreign guy, so you went out with him and sam's parents...and that was when i became paralyzed so you cut him off. but he helped me walk again so you guys started hooking up, then you told me you were dating, you found out you were pregnant, and after ALL THAT, that's when you barely decided to get married?" his two biggest concerns are if they ever actually talk about anything other than him and karate, and what the hell they were doing before tying the knot if not actually just being married (he has a similar conversation with hawkmetri, miguel just thinks everyone would be happier if they just got married)

i wish they'd shown more of carmen's personality outside of being miguel's mom and johnny's gf/wife. upon rewatch, i just noticed she likes metallica and top gun?? and she doesn't like sour cream?? WHY WERE WE NOT PRIVY TO THESE DETAILS MORE OFTEN?!

the lack of robby and carmen interactions is absolutely criminal. why do we have to do everything for the writers?

ALLOW ME TO DO IT MYSELF: i feel like carmen would've been very hands-on with helping robby look for things to do after high school, perhaps a trade or technical school, then ultimately would've been the first of the family to hug him after he tells them about his new contract. I think she's good friends with shannon and her new bf, which makes it easier for johnny to tolerate them bc carmen always knows how to relax him. robby, though not being able to enjoy this wonderful world of co-parenting for long, is still over the moon at carmen and jace helping his parents put in that effort to be there for him. like that senior year had to be one of the best years of his life (sekai taikai aside) because he finally got the family he always wanted and he didn't have to play adult for once in his life. his parents are sober, he has friends, siblings, a girlfriend, he gets to go to school and be a normal teenager, and everyone actually treats him to an amazing 18th bday party (where he sneaks off to breakdown in his room). since he lives with the diazes, he spends a lot more time with carmen than jace and it always surprises him when she takes notice of his favorite foods and his routine (like making him a protein shake before his workouts in the morning since she's already getting ready for work. or noticing/hearing from miguel that he had a tough day at school and making one of his favorite meals. or keeping his favorite flavor of coffee/creamer in stock even though he's the only one that drinks it.) he awkwardly brings it up to miguel, thankful but also confused why she's doing so much for him even though she's gotta be crazy busy with work and laura. miguel just stares at him like it's common sense and says "because she's a mom. that's just what she does bc she cares about us."

WHY DIDN'T WE GET MORE CHOZEN/JOHNNY BONDING MOMENTS?!?!? watching them in s5 was great, and i know they had a silly moment in s6, but I want MORE. why are they both so close with daniel when they are literally so similar to each other? like i wish they'd turned to each other more during their inner conflicts.

the shift in quality from youtube to netflix is insane. the production value goes up but the writing goes down, editors/visual geeks won but at what cost? 💔

sam's s4/s5 looks ate DOWN she's so pretty, i love her. i especially love her purple sweater look during the s4 lawrusso rematch and the braid look during the family dinner for miguel and sam at the larusso house (was that s4 or 5? probably four, considering they broke up in s5) and don't even get me started on her cute pink flower shirt while interrogating stingray in s5 UGH and her adorable pink dress at the house party in s5 (even when crying, she's so pretty, i can't) mary mouser, the woman that you are, i adore you

s2 sam's little giggle after the mall fight when she's getting excited with robby at how well they fought together? SHE'S SO CUTE I CANNOT

why does hawk have so much beef with her? 💔 rewatching the hospital scene was crazy bc my immediate thought was "oh he's jealous" NOT IN A SAMHAWK WAY but rather a hawkguel way. FAN CONTENT CREATORS, I BEG OF YOU TO MAKE MORE HAWKGUEL CONTENT, hawkmetri is the talk of the town but HAWKGUEL IS PRIME REAL ESTATE BC NO ONE DOES IT? EVEN THOUGH THE SHOW LITERALLY WRITES IT FOR YOU?? it's perfect, he's obsessed with how confident miguel is in s1, he idolizes him in s2 - even when they start clashing, it's never miguel's fault, that's just another tuesday :3. in s3, tory's cry for revenge makes sense for obvious reasons but for hawk it's a little...possessive? too much to be platonic? then s4/5/6, he STILL idolizes miguel. like he refuses to accept anyone over miguel. it's the world against miguel and hawk will be damned if anyone tries to turn him against miguel. even after all the s3 drama, yeah hawk's conflicted after breaking demetri's arm and kyler joins ck but he doesn't look LOST until miguel gets mad at him. then watching miguel and demetri get their asses kicked at the house fight is what triggers him back to their side. my money is on demetri being his oldest crush, which he thinks is unrequited, and miguel being his new crush, also unrequited but more blatantly so. so he goes all into hawk, dates moon, gets back with her after finding out about yasmetri, and kind of watches the two couples from a distance (and perhaps some robeli toward the end of s5...:3)
