Made this because I haven't sketched the poor gooey lad in so long and he's been feeling rather neglected. XD

6…inflation of any type.

This...is a weird one for me. I'm actually not that fond of inflation when it doesn't involve a character getting bloated with food or drink. I'll admit, I've had a few conversations with a friend where an extremely specific scenario lined up with my interests and made me go "oh yeah, I think this has awakened something in me." But 98% of the time it's just not my thing. Stuffing and liquid bloating are much more closely aligned with my interests, I'll just stick with those.

Although I did draw inflation exactly one time with a certain mystery goo character who's been around for a LONG time on FA but I have yet to properly introduce on Tumblr.

It's funny, I'm not a huge fan of ridiculously large guts bigger than the pred's freaking body unless there's some anatomical justification for it...

...but Malgam is a boneless slime creature, so I guess that counts.

I don't have a drawing to demonstrate, but you know about the black swallower fish?

This guy's been around for a loooooong time, but this is the first time I'm properly introducing him on Tumblr. His reference is a bit outdated and I never made a fully rendered drawing of his true form, but after this recent round of asks, I'm curious to see how well he's received here.

I may also tweak his biography at some point, so the stuff below is subject to change. I really just want to get it out there after being left untouched for so long.

The Amalgam Project, a mysterious and controversial program started within the Denmel Facility of Genetic Research, was designed to create genetically modified hybrid species for future experiments. Four tests were conducted with the original goal of medical research, but the fifth one (dubbed Amalgam-5), a haphazard mash-mash of DNA samples from across the animal kingdom, was deemed a failure after it collapsed into a green, gelatinous mass. As the newborn creature slowly developed signs of sentience, the leader of the project (founder Robert Denmel himself) realized its potential application in other sectors like law enforcement and the military. Although Amalgam-5 enjoyed the rigorous training exercises at first, he quickly grew tired of the monotony, the punishment when he acted out of line, and especially the strict feeding schedules. He has escaped from the facility on numerous occasions, but each time he grows harder and harder to track down and recapture…

Nathaniel is PERFECT for this. He's greedy, but he's pickier than his co-captain and very much prefers the finer stuff in life. Vintage wine, oysters over ice, steamed mussels, whole lobster and crab cooked every which way, he will gorge himself on all of it and savor every moment.

Lou also fits this scenario, although he's no stranger to wolfing down candy, sweets and meals you would find in a casual pub. He dreams of living a life of luxury, so he'll take any chance he can get (legal or not) to sample fine dining of the upper class. Beef wellington, pork pies, roasted duck, the little sandwiches and biscuits you get with afternoon tea, everything...even if his manners are far from gentlemanly. XD

Bubba is another great fit. He'll eat pretty much anything, but he's very passionate about cooking and discovering new delicious dishes to try. Giving him a LOT of good quality food is a good way of ensuring you don't end up on his menu as well...just be careful he doesn't have room for seconds...
