and that’s it for a little while, but ian comes back again a few days later because he just can’t give up. not on this, not on the love of his life. he’s thought about what mickey said and he thinks he sort of understands now
he has to apologize for so many things - for the bj ultimatum back in s4, for disappearing to the army after mickey’s wedding, for calling him a pussy and a faggot at the dugout in 5x10, for cheating... there are so many things he feels he needs to apologize for, he doesn’t even remember them all at once
and he apologizes, and tells mickey how amazing he is, how great and how beautiful, until mickey snaps and tells him to stop being a goddamn sap and kisses him

I think he would keep lip make-up pretty simple with mostly just balms and lip butter for everyday looks, but for bolder days, I could see a deep plum or dark brown-like shade (the Cupid color) or lighter brown shade as well (Honey Pie shade) :)
