        For a long moment, Anders just stood and stared at Fall, hesitantly taking the cake and following them. “You speak a lot of languages.” He said, taking a bite of the treat and making a face. It tasted rather... alcoholic. “Is there rum in that?”

       For a very long moment, Anders remained silent, his lips parted slightly with his surprise. When realization about what just happened hit him, his face heated up, flushing red as he simply stared at Fall, whom he just wanted to scold for their childish and dangerous behavior. 

It was in the middle of the night, Ser Naseweis wouldn’t stop screaming and scratching at the door and Anders had to get up in three hours to get to work. It wasn’t the first time this had happened and it had taken very long for Anders to realize that this behavior had only started after Fall had visited for a few times. Exhaling in relief, he closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose when Fall actually picked up, making a slight face when he heard their disgruntled voice.

“I know. I’m sorry. Listen, Ser Naseweis misses you. He won’t stop screaming, he won’t stop scratching at the door. Please. I need to get to work in three hours and I was hoping that maybe you could come over so I could at least catch a bit of sleep?”

Of course he felt bad for asking. Fall likely had a very busy life,too and probably didn’t have the time to visit Anders’ cat in the middle of the night because that stupid thing missed them, but it was worth a shot.

        Anders slowly looked up at Fall, his eyes widening as he realized what their words meant. “No. No! I want to keep the cat! I’m just... surprised, that is. It’s a really big cat, too, I’m not even sure if that’s really a domestic cat. Thank you so much!”
