Lately I've been in such a slump with where I'm at in life. I never would've thought at twenty I'd be back living at home, working and commuting to school. I'm struggling to be content with the season I'm in and struggling to see where God's working in my life. I feel like time's ticking and I'm stuck in park, not going anywhere. I'm still trying to learn to trust God's timing. Life isn't always going to be peachy keen but it's all about facing adversity head on and continuing to push toward your goals. If you're going through a season of being lost and confused, just know you're not alone. It's been a few days since I've had a good workout and it's such a frustrating feeling. I feel very blah. I'm not sure if it's hormonal or maybe it's the change in seasons but I'm just tired and irritable. My diet has been a little off this weekend, I'm craving carbs and my bed, I'm retaining water, I'm breaking out and I just want to crawl into a ball. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It would've been super easy to have said screw the gym and gone back to bed. But you're not going to achieve your goals that way. No one else is gonna do it for you. Father God
Lord Jesus
Holy Spirit
We present ourselves before you again this Sunday.
We are grateful that no matter how challenging
Our lives are, you are at work to will and to act
To accomplish your good purposes.
And you have provided every good
We enjoy, which we easily take for granted.
From the light of the sun, to the plants of the ground,
We live in your provision.
Even in fallenness,
You have created a hospitable environment.
We want stronger faith, but you have
Given the gift of faith in which we live.
Please strengthen our trust in you.
We want to give more love,
Out of what you have poured into our hearts.
Help us tune out our worries and
Tune in to your deep deep love.
Because of your tender care,
We place our hope in you.
Our hope that there will be an end to rejection
And fear and disharmony.
We await your second Advent
With hope in your purpose and plan
Because you are committed to us.
There is no other eternal hope.
We will never give up seeking faith, hope, and love.
There’s always more to experience.

We present ourselves before you again this Sunday.
So many other paths we could have followed
But we chose the one that brought us here.
And as Robert Frost said,
“Way leads on to way.”
We can look back at the road
We did not take
And wonder at the difference
It would have made,
But we cannot go back.
We chose the traveled or untraveled track.
And you will make of that road
All that it needs to be,
However much suffering that requires
For us or for you.
Because you suffer with each of us, like you
Wept with Mary and Martha at the tomb of Lazarus.
We object to all our affliction and distress.
But we rarely think to wonder
Why you let yourself in for so much sorrow.
In all our distress, you, too, are distressed.
Not only are you the parent who
Disciplines us so we may share your holiness,
But you are also the compassionate shepard.
What purpose do you see?
What is worth so much heartache for you?
We will never give up trusting your compassion.
There is always more comfort in you.
And we await the best, where
Every question is satisfied.
