williamette | always in postscript
sorely underrated, williamette remains one of the most beautiful soundscape, tapemusic bands i've ever known.
Willamette - Portrait of a Sleeping Girl with Radio (by monocromo74)
Williamette-Always In Postscript(Album Review)
Williamette is an ambient project and this is their second full length LP ''Always in Postscript''. These tracks are very minimal atmospheric affairs. It's very soothing and chill music but at the same time the heavy drone sounds can give it an even more intriguing feel. I enjoy ambient tunes but I for the most part don't listen to much music on this minimal a level at least not attentively. New sonic Ideas do introduced as certain track go on but very subtly and you'd have to be actively engaged. This album is more like background music to me, which is actually to be to be expected considering it was first made as a score to the film ''All The Lines Flow Out'' by Lin Yi Yong. That being said I did find this to be a pleasurable listening experience. Those of you that are into atmospheric ambient/drone music should definitely give this a listen!
