I am not an artist, nor am I someone who really knows how to make these, I can't do much, but music speaks when words can't. I am speechless myself, I do not understand what is going on. I do not understand the hatred and the negligence that leads to a life being taken. I know it happens everywhere and I know it's not made a public event, but that is not the point. The point is in two days four lives were taken. Four lives that did not have to be taken. I am both sickened and frightened, not only for myself, but every person that walks these streets. Retaliation is happening. Cops are being killed by snipers at peaceful protests. We, as a nation, must stand up to all of this. We must not let fear control us. We have to love one another. We have to stop segregating on our own. Each life matters! We have to work together to be the change we want to see. I am sending prayers for the families of the victims. I pray for answers and peace. I'm also praying for the officers who were shot, the ones perished and still alive. We must do better. We must work together.
