ALTHEA MAVDOM, also known as THE BANISHER, or the Banshee if she's not around. She's also got a descendant hanging around here, but he's not important. What is important is Althea's work repurposing rebels for the good of the Empire. Those unfortunate enough to be sentenced by the Banisher are, who could have guessed, banished off-planet to die on the front lines. In fact, someone on this blog has been through that treatment firsthand.
The very unlucky rebels are likely to find themselves in the laboratory of Althea's business associate, The Experimentalist, a geneticist conducting top secret experiments in blood color and psionics for the Fleet.
Perhaps the worst part of her work, however, is that Althea knows exactly what it feels like to be in those rebels' shoes; after all, she started on their side. Hard to imagine what could cause such a drastic change in morals, but witnessing enough carnage might just do the trick.
