Life is slightly complicated when you have work in your mind in Ladakh. Well, sipping my coffee, which was quickly turning cold, I saw a group of school children on a cleanliness mission on the street. They were carrying brooms and garbage bags and of course a banner. The white clouds laced the hills beyond the villages, as far as I can see them. A worn-out foreigner with a guitar and a backpack seemed a little lost. A toddler walked with his mother to an Automatic Teller Machine booth. This street is lined with quite a number of these ATMs.

I have seen this gate hundreds of time. But each time its like I am going to something and leaving behind something. . Chumukedima gate after you cross Dimapur in Nagaland. This is where your Inner Line Permitss are checked by the local police before you proceed to Kohima. . .

I am now a tourist in my own homeground. A place where I was born, raised as a kid and progressed to a teenager, is now my memorabilia seeking destination. . This place always made me emotional...always. Specially what was written in the epitaphs. Wars never did good to any body, did they? . .
