Something is wrong with this picture.    This dreamscape is so sweet and pure that   Sebastian can't imagine that he could have    been summoned by this dreamer at all.  What shadows could they have buried in their soul so glum as to summon the starving beast?

He finds her about the edge of the flower field, humming beneath her breath and looking as  though she is debating dipping her bare toes  into the crystalline waters at her feet.  Her hair glitters beneath sunlight so bright he hasn't  seen the likes of since his days within his fake paradise--                        (She is so pure for a moment he                        forgets himself.  He is so certain                        he sees another face, so certain                        he sees a flash of red.  He does                        not waver here though- She has                        summoned him from the desires                        in her heart.  He is long passed                        living in the shadows of his own                         dreams.)

"Are you ready, Aerith?" 

The morning rays seemed so bright to Zack now, the air that hit his face; refreshing, and then there was the sky... He couldn't recall appreciating these simple things quite like this.. not for some time. Maybe... not since then, if his memory served him correctly.

Sky-blues glanced down to the hand grasping his own, a soft squeeze given with an equally soft smile. They'd come so far... and really, it hadn't been that long ago that they came to realize this. Realizing so many things and the memories that made them who they were. There was still plenty to recognize and plenty to work on... But they had each other, and that was enough to to keep them going.

Until she'd arrived... Zack had forgotten his purpose.

"Its a long way back to Midgar. We'll stay at a lot of places and... we'll definitely get a chance to see that sky." Together. That was his promise, and whether she'd truly experienced it already or not... he intended to keep it.

 "By the time we reach it, think we'll be ready to face everyone?" The question hung in the air as the two started walking, headed towards the town of Modeoheim where they'd discover just how much Gaia had changed in their absence.

While they recovered.
