Flashfire makes me so sad bruh
I think Scout would lowkey bully pyro, not out of malice but just bc he’s a shithead, and pyro would misinterpret the attention for friendship but then when they get clingy Scout pushes them away sigh but actually pyro has a hugebig crush on him and just wants to be loved like a normal person frowns
They long for normalcy, not because they necessarily wish they were normal but because they feel like they can only be loved if they make themself docile enough to hold
They’ll try their hardest to do whatever someone wants if it means they’ll be tolerated enough that they can pretend the attention is affection. But they’re not good at people, let alone inferring what’s wanted of them.
