#artists on tumblr #digital art #doodle #nekom’s ocs #alsmenes things #faie and marchaulle are very funny because they're dufay and machaut expies.#but they're also a way for me to make musical change a significant part of their story #marchaulle can't stand that the 'ars nova' of her time will not live forever and so asks a fae to transform her and her students into fae #to preserve it forever. which of course will not happen but she certainly tries.#faie being one of marchaulle's students is also transformed and so gets to see a musical future that noone forsaw 100 years ago #and gets to live a life that she could not have imagined 100 years ago #but time takes its toll on her too and there's gonna be one day where she and her own style becomes irrelevant like marchaulle's did #anyway both of them deal with time passing very differently #both as people and as composers/singers/musicians
