I used my old phone today from 2 and a half years ago and going through it I got a lot of flashbacks to my younger self who's life was falling apart, didn't know if id ever be successful doing anything in music, And just saw bluecoats perform kinetic noise for the first time and thinking that was the coolest shit. And if I told 19 year old Jeremy that they'd be marching 2 incredible bluecoats shows, playing trombone for we are the union, have so many incredible friends, and moving to Gainesville to study music and finish up the last classes I need to (finally) get my degree and move on to a university, 19 year old Jeremy would be in disbelief. It takes time but things get better and it's worth it to keep pushing even when it feels like years have gone by and nothing Is working.
