The victims in Syria weren’t “remnants of the regime.” They were civilians— Mostly Alawites, Christians, and even Sunnis who dared to speak out against these heinous acts, slaughtered by Takfiri death squads.
Unfortunately a lot of mainstream media has downplayed this as “clashes,” when in reality, it was a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing. These people weren’t caught in a political conflict—they were hunted down in their own homes. The footage is undeniable: people crawling the streets while getting beaten and begging for mercy, lifeless bodies piled up, entire families wiped out in their own homes. Genocide is the only word that accurately describes this.
What else could we expect when governments armed and shielded Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists, allowing them to flood Syria with foreign fighters and criminals? Are we really going to act shocked? This wasn’t just a war—it was engineered destruction, a deliberate attempt to destabilize and balkanize the nation.
