"Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Albert Einstein (@twsbi eco with 54th Massachusetts #noodlersink in our Airship AlphaScribeWire #notebook) I enjoy learning new things and knowing details about a variety of topics, but knowledge is only a tool. Without imagination and the capacity to apply knowledge in creative and interesting ways, we would all just recite facts back and forth. We'd be nothing but cogs in a machine. You might KNOW how to do something and be capable of repeating that skill endlessly, but there is more to life than thr endless loop. We all have to do run the program of repetition--it's how we make money and pay the bills and feed our families--but don't get caught in an endless loop all the time. Break the mold. Try something new. Don't just draw characters with pens. Try painting landscapes, or sketching buildings with pencils. Don't just write a blog. Compose some poetry. Draft a short story. It won't be your best work the first time (or even the tenth time), but you'll be surprised how using the knowledge you have in different and creatively imagined ways can influence your usual daily work. Oh, and it could be fun, too. You remember what fun is, right? Think about how to change things up. Create something new or use a new technique to recreate or reinvent something you've already done. Inspire others to do the same and collaborate to learn each other's skills. Think. Create. Inspire. ::---🖋---:: #typographyart #airshipnotebooks #fountainpen #twsbieco #blueblack #penandink #Einstein #quote #inspiration #ThinkCreateInspire #quotestoliveby #airshipproducts #alphasketchwire #woodgrain #journal #alberteinstein #imagination #knowledge #trysomethingnew
