It took me forever to figure out a good analogy for how the s/omega is feeling but the meme with the dog in the burning room saying this is fine is that person except their face is on fire trying to pretend they are not aroused by Alucard or how they dismiss the feelings of their first heat creeping up on them. Just stubborn and cheerful denial.
I’m laughing at s/omega. nice blending/pun there anon!!!
And did I say I was posting Monday? I meant today here’s some of the stuff I’ve finished so far
It starts with a little sensitivity of the people around you. then again being a nurse in a military organization requires a high degree of self awareness of the surrounding world. after lunch the awareness increases to a little fever, like one degree higher than normal. all normal since you’re running around the ward tending to soldiers with their wounds. Dinner comes and nothing new occurs so you think your out of the clear. a false alarm.
the days go on and the more soldiers come in needing your care. your increasing fever and increasing awareness of how nice everyone smells and their capabilities as soldiers and friends all normal. you need to be aware of the individuals to give them the best care. a fever is easily fixed with cold showers in between surgeries. An extra level of sanitation, aren’t you dedicated to the sanitation of the medical ward?
Little things keep piling up. little thoughts that pop up while reading medical charts, turn into inappropriate intrusive thoughts of licking and caressing the patients that come in. a little fever that comes and goes turns into a full on summer heat in the middle of the night shift. and the awareness of people around you become an awareness of how many eligible bachelors are open to your advances.
Alucard is the one who catches you in the hallway, a hand mindlessly covering your crotch as you think ‘oh no i’m getting close to my heat!’. Alucard smells better though. and know’s your in the deep end of a heat. how you’ve managed to keep working during such a drive impresses him. but your tomato red face, and your grinding are more than obvious of your condition.
“Are you alright?” He asks, he’s close enough now that your scent would tantalize his taste buds. making him salivate.
You jump, your hand diving into your med coat pockets, your face a burning blaze. the closeness of Alucard drives away all other thoughts of the other people in the Manor. as was typical: it’s kind of hard to ignore Aulcard’s presence on any day of their life.
“Yep, just fine. I’m just fine.” Your cheery smile would have gotten you away from suspicion, had it not been Alucard watching your face burn redder. But instead of being responsible like Integra, or Kind like Seras, Alucard shrugged with a smile, more than happy to play with you and your purposed ignorance.
“If you say so.” With a little puff Alucard left in the smoke of his shadows. leaving you to return to work.
the day continues with more hovering from Alucard. but he does not interfere with your work. rather your concentration. He would constantly make lewd comments about sex with Pip when the man came in with a little bruise, the flavor of blood types with Seras when she would pop in. but with the Vampire helicoptering you, other Alphas that had reoccupied your thoughts before didn’t dare to approach you. and every time you would stumble, stutter, or make a little mistake Alucard would Smirk and ask if you were alright.
Always you replied with “I’m Fine.”
It took two days of you at peeked heat, and a fight between Alucard and a new Alpha on the grounds -who didn’t know who was top dog at the Hellsing Organization-to make you realize you were in heat.
