          the little chespin approaches with a "strange looking stone" on his hands ready to show it to his sister. it's a firestone but he doesn't know that yet. for a pokemon his size, it's rather big. even then, he does his best to bring it to the braixen, and when he's near, he stumbles and falls face down to the ground - dropping the stone in the process.

          The Braixen is busy sorting their stash of berries and apples when Hau comes back. Food for their dinner tonight, some for her exploration bag, and some for his when he returns.

          A large, fuzzy ear twitches as she hears his steps coming back. Nicole turns just in time to see him trip and drop the Fire Stone. Walking over, she picks him up gently to set him right on his feet. "Ya okay, kiddo? Wha'cha doin' wit' a stone bigger than youse are?"

          Turning and picking up the Fire Stone, she holds it out for him to see. "--This here's fer any o' yer Vulpix, Growlithe, Eevee, Pansear, an' Capsakid buddies. They can use this ta evolve. If ya know any, yer free ta give i' ta 'em. If not, this is yer find ta decide wha' ya do wit'." Honestly, the fact he came back with an evolution stone of any kind is amazing. They're so hard to find in dungeons now these days, and even more rare to get as rewards.

“Guess I’ll die.”

He's swept up without issue, only briefly tensing up in fright before realizing who it was. Elio just laughed out of relief and joy at seeing Hau. The laughter only got louder when Hau showered him in kisses.

Elio gently wrapped his arms around Hau's shoulders before responding with his own shower of kisses. He'd nuzzle him and giggle quietly.

“I th - think this i - is the recipe that my mo - mom used to ma - make.. They’re Pokemon frie - friendly too.” Elio murmured, setting the book down on the counter on the cookie recipe. He glanced at Hau before sticking his tongue out as he concentrated on the recipe in front of them.
