Please don't scare us again, Junior...
Last night as I lay in bed, cuddled up next to my husband, sleeping. I had this awful, awful pain in the right side of my pelvis. Scared and hurting, I woke up DH and asked him to call my mom and dad immediately.Â
The pain was so bad, I could move but the only thing I could think was "Oh my God, we may be losing Junior." I was too much in shock to start crying and I just kept telling DH over and over again to call my parents -- my father is a surgeon.Â
Although I have had periodic freak outs about this pregnancy thinking "Am I ready?" or "How much will this pregnancy change our lives" or, as one of my coworkers keeps telling me (rather rudely) "I'm gonna get fat", the moment I thought I may be losing Junior was the moment I knew that this was absolutely, beyond a doubt what I wanted.Â
DH sat up with me as I curled into fetal position waiting for the cramps to pass. There has been no blood yet, so miscarriage, yet (and hopefully not ever). We have an appointment on Friday for our first doctor's visit and, hopefully, hear Junior's heartbeats via the ultrasound.Â
Pregnancy Symptoms: Breast tenderness went away (this worries me), I'm crying about everything and very irritable, not hungry, intense sense of smell, cramping, and headaches.Â
