With tears in my eyes, and the mellow notes beating into my heart like a hammer, a tear fell down my cheek. I'd tried to get you back, and all you had done was lie to me about her. I laughed when the song began and you asked why, I just shrugged, it was then something inside me broke, maybe my heart had finally broken down, or my last string had snapped. But I smiled through the tears and the pain for you, for the last time. There was no more us, there was no use in chasing you anymore.
