Every morning I wake up with a song in my head. Well, almost every morning. When that happens I take the time to look up the song on YouTube. It’s never the full song. It’s always a phrase that I can look up online.
While working at Southeastern California conference I took a two-year discipleship program. In that program I learned that one of the ways that God talks to me is through Song. A mentor of mine, who recently passed last year, once said to me: “When you hear a song in your head or a phrase of a song look it up! God is trying to tell you something.“ And every song has always been an encouragement, but this one is universal and I thought I would share.
