L: What’s the weirdest AU you’ve ever come up with?

oh man, let me think. i have so many au ideas haha…of my posted fics, probably flirting with death, in which wes mitchell is a death and travis is a reckless idiot. of the stuff i haven’t posted yet, i have a warm bodies au and a fairy tale beauty-and-the-beast au. for wips, i have a fantasy au where travis is turned into a dragon but really doesn’t mind all that much.

but the weirdest au to date is a pretty-much-completely dropped au in which there’s this disorder where people lose tangibility and corporeality and basically become living ghosts the more stressed out they are, and wes and travis both have it. very, very strange idea and i’m not really sure where it came from, lol.

P: Are you what George R. R. Martin would call an “architect” or a “gardener”? (How much do you plan in advance, versus letting the story unfold as you go?)

ooooh, i’m a little bit of both. it depends on the fic, really. some stories i have a very clear idea of where i want things to go and how i want it to progress, so i’ll write an outline for the story. other times, i’ll just write as ideas come to me.

for instance, my warm bodies au, i just wrote and wrote whatever i felt like–i knew where the end was, but it was just taking my time getting there. the fic i’m working on now, however, is very structured out, and i know what needs to happen when, so i have an outline and everything.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

i honestly don’t think so. i have authors i love, but i wouldn’t say they necessarily influence my writing. 

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

nothing i absolutely can’t stand, though there are things i have to be in a very certain mood to read. anything with bdsm or a/b/o i have to be in the mood or it just squicks me out.

i can’t think of anything specifically within the common law fandom.

V: A secondary (or underrated) character you want to see more of in fic?

sometimes it’s more about finding the right therapist which is hard. but i get it. just be careful bby <3333

i get like that when i fall into depressive episodes. :( have you thought about seeing someone you could talk to? like a therapist or something? it might help a little. i hope you feel better soon *hugs gently*
