“What a surprise running into you here, Ally,” Jake pushed through the crowd so that he was now standing front and center at the bar that separated them. His eyes scanned the blonde as if she was a piece of meat, causing a smirk to pull at the corners of his lips. It had been months since their break up, and since the last time he had spoken to her. She had cut off all ties with him and seems to drop off the face of earth. Not that Jake wasn’t still spending hours trying to find her. He missed her so much. Constantly running through his mind, just wondering why she would leave him. She meant so much to him, and how could she break his poor heart like that?
“I’ve missed you so much, sweetheart,” he took a seat at the bar stool and let his eyes linger on hers. “Whiskey please. And also, I’d love to talk to you once you finish your shift. Only an hour left right? The kind man at the door told me you were finishing soon and I told him not to worry about taking you home. I don’t mind dropping you off.” He grinned his famous killer grin as he leaned across the bar, “We have a lot of catching up to do.”
