ALLISON - Peter Thornberry's POV:

It's been a stressful week with Lydia finding bodies left right and centre and honestly even I'm struggling to keep up so I decide that tonight, tonight I'm sleeping in my bed back at home. My bed in the Stilinski household. I need a great from the supernatural and a break from Lydia, Isaac and Scott trying to get me with Derek when I'm not ready to tell him and honestly I don't believe that he even cares about me.

I tried to change my anchor but honestly went so wrong, I ended up waking in Deaton's vet clinic with my head on Allison's lap and her soothing fingers combing through my messy hair. Deaton had to tell me that I'd lost control of my magic and was being subconsciously dragged to the darker side of the nemeton and the only way is to regain whatever powerful anchor I had originally had.

I just cried. I didn't care if any of the other pack were in hearing distance, I didn't care. I just cried and Allison held me, not saying anything, just holding me as I let everything from the last few months out. Deaton was rummaging through his many trays of weird and rare herbs, searching for something while Allison pressed her forehead to my cheek, having learnt a while back that in times like this simple physical contact was enough to let me know they were there for me.

"Peter, I recommend taking this until you find a new strong enough anchor if you wish to change it," Deaton hands me a vial of some sort of leaves and I know immediately they're from the original nemeton, "Make tea with them and they should keep you balanced until you find yourself an anchor."

With that Deaton nods and turns, going into the back to give me some privacy because I'm still crying and it's so embarrassing. I'm still clinging onto Allison's arm and my head just falls onto her shoulder as I can't stop the tears mumbling, "I don't want to lose my anchor." And "I want to tell him, I'm scared." Allison just sits there, rocking me into a calm semi-conscious state until Noah gets here with Stiles to take me home. I'm not really conscious, unsure I'm dreaming when Stiles picks me and the whole ride home let alone Stiles getting me into bed.

"It'll be okay Petey," His voice floats over me like a breeze on a hot day, my waking world disappearing with the familiar click of the bedroom door shutting,

Hours later, as per usual, the soft creak of the window opening and closing wakes me from my light slumber but I can't be bothered to check with member of the pack it is, so I just listen to them getting undressed and the sound of my drawers opening and closing as they grab a shirt before the duvet lifts. As soon as the arm drapes over my waist and pulls me close to them the sweet fragrance of fresh strawberries invades my senses and I know it's Allison.

"Go back to sleep Petey," She soothes and I interlace our fingers, mumbling something before sleep takes over again.
