I watched the first movie shortly after it came out. Then I had a wait for the next ones so I picked up the books. It took me about two months to read all three, Tolkien is very wordy, but I love them.

1. The first character I first fell in love with Frodo, I’m talking about the books, with the movies it was Sam.2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now I just cannot think of one. No wait, let’s go with Faramir. When we first met him I didn’t immediately like him but I love him so much now.3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t Gimli, I don’t dislike him, but he’s not one that I love. 4. The character I love that everyone else hates I cannot think of one, I don’t follow the LOTR fandom on tumblr at all.5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer NONE! All the characters I’ve loved since I started this series are still favs.6. The character I would totally smooch I’m chearting and going to say  Thandruil, even tho he’s from the Hobbit.7. The character I’d want to be like Eowyn, she gets a lot of shit for her ‘love’ of Aragorn but girl is fierce and does not want to live in societies set roles for women.8. The character I’d slap Denethor but his end was enough for me9. A pairing that I love Faramir/Eowyn is really the only ship I’ve ever had in LOTR. I’m more into the friendships of this series.10. A pairing that I despise Again I do not have one.
