My dear friend, sorry I haven't written sooner. I've spent the last few days trying to put as much ground between me and the cage of the city. I'm already a very good ways south, it's so much more relaxing out here. I feel more lively already. Lager has been enjoying herself but not nearly as much as Ami, whose shoved her nose in every bush and hole I'll let her near. She's such an endearing pup, I'm glad to have her with me.

I will continue to write you, as I said I would. And if you don't mind, I have a little message for Alleda, if you're willing to pass it on for me.
