Really, she’s only been here merely a week or so and already it’s so hard to find someone capable of keeping up with her. For such a dreary lack of entertainment she may as well have been put back into a dingy coffin for another five hundred years, minus the bugs of course. If only a witch and her demonic hindsight had not granted some ever teasing reprieve. Ah, was that what she thought it was?
A woman? Training? Just what she’s been seeking at excruciatingly long last! Perhaps her search has not run dry after all. She spectates from a fair distance away, pacing calmly as her gaze fixates in every move be it subtle or extreme. Well, if she could be her favorite animal of all for just today then she’d say the unsuspecting little mouse has is about to be pounced by the grinning Cheshire, allowing a heel to slam down just loud enough to announce her presence.
“Oh my. They certainly don’t teach those sort of moves around here. Then again neither of us truly belong. Would it be too terribly unfair of me to ask if you would be so kind? I haven’t had a good sparring partner in decades!”

Picking wild herbs seems like a fair way to spend the day, something calming and instinctual that allows Kurama’s mind to wander and his guard to lower just enough to be close to relaxed. However, he isn’t foolish enough to believe he’d stay isolated even amongst nature as he is; there are enough people trapped on the island to ensure that. Really, he wouldn’t have paid any mind if not for the familiar feeling, something close enough to spiritual energy, if a bit muted, for him to be interested.
“Do you need help with anything?” he decides to ask, and more importantly, decides not to have his back turned – attention shifting from the plants in front of him to the person behind him. “I will say I’m new to the area, so I don’t know how much help I’d be.”

Do they tend to get lost in their own thoughts/daydreams?
He might get lost in his thoughts sometimes, for sure. I think he does stay fairly conscious of his surroundings though. What he thinks however... ..........who knows. He doesn’t daydream really.

He could be fishing like a normal person. But ZZ was probably anything but normal anyway, leaning back on his tail like a snake about to strike, only to grab at the water, his action--- unsuccessful in catching the fish he had his eyes on. It wasn’t even like he could eat them like he wanted, but... It was kind of fun-- it reminded him of home.
He curses quietly, and well. He tries again! “Damn fish...”

It’s easy enough to put them on, it’s just shoes with blades after all. He might not have ever used these things but tying shoelaces wasn’t a problem. But after the covers of the blades are off Ogata isn’t so sure what to do, so for now he’s just watching how others are going about it.

Sitting on a bench his blade is tapping the surface of the rink, as if he was testing bathwater heat.
