i think the evil we love was a very important short story to explain the way valentine was able to convince everyone to his cause and why the circle ended up following him even when they weren't on the same level of fanaticism and conviction to the cause. because it gives me perspective and reminds me to stop myself from calling all of them them spineless little bitches every time we get a new circle story.
