I got all the colors sorted!

Here's all the groups separated:

All the turtles have weapons. So does Shredder. But what about their real use ?

- Shredder : His claws also known as tekko-kagi, are to be used for closed range fighter. Also effective against katanas and sword, they were made to be effective against other close range figthers. as such, Shredder and his use of martial art and claws made him the perfect natural ennemy for Leo.

- Leo : Wielder of katanas, leo as leader is to carry the most noble weapon of Japan : Katanas. But do not be deceived, those things are useless in real battle. not only did samurais used them as last resort, they were, for the most of them, only for show in real war, too easly broken. The technique of using Two of them (technique of "the two swords") were not made to fight against heavy armored fighters and made the warrior tire easly.

- Donnie : Bo. For there is different size for the bo, this boy seems to use the more common version with a wooden weapon of almost 5 feet. Very useful and ressourcefull, the bo is a versatile weapon that goes both against sword and claws. They are, however countered by the sais.

- Raph : Sais are... Contreversal. While they were made to go against sword and long range weapons (bo, nigatana and others) there really close range ability made them useless. They were used to counter and deviate blows, inflincting blunt force attacks, but not really of any use otherwise.

Leonardo was trying to read. It was rare that he got some quiet time but when he did, he liked to settle down with a good book. It was oned of his favorite things to do but today, he was having trouble focusing on the story. All because of you of course. The main character's best friend was so much like you, smart and sweet and brave. A littled on the sarcastic side but always there for people. So he couldn't understand why the main character didn't love her. She was perfect. And witty. And so pretty with those soft curls and long lashes and-focus Leo! He concentrated on the story or at least tried...but you kept popping back into his mind.

Raphael was trying to training. Hands wrapped up tight with bandages, he swung and kicked and punched his beat up punching bag. The poor thing was getting the daylights beaten out of it but Raph couldn't help it. He couldn't stop. Not because of anger or frustration but because of happiness. Because of you. He had just spent the best afternoon of his life with you, watching movies and eating junk food and talking for hours. And all he could think about was your smile, your laugh, the way your hand had brushed against his...and it was making him so happy, he had to punch something.

Donatello was trying to work. He had to fix thst stupid toaster yet again and it needed to be done by morning (because heaven help us if Mikey didn't get his Cinnamon Toastie Waffles). And damn it, he was trying! But you kept creeping into his mind as he tried to figure out what was wrong with this stupid thing this time...it wasn't his fault. It was you, with your goofy grin and adorable laugh and love of anime. You, with your big beautiful eyes and, oh, the way you said his name...you were so wonderful. And you were keeping him from getting any work done too. He had to focus, had to focus...was that the first episode of Boku No Hero Academia? Wasn't that your favorite? *click*

Here's the colors comparison for the scales. Most of these have a light to dark scale, but the exceptions are 2016 where the 'highlight' is the tan area around their mouths, and 2018 where I show some additional colors on their skin, like Leo's red marks.

I feel like 2003 is a little dark, but that might be because of the picture I chose. Or it just looks darker with the colors separated.

I have the results of the next poll, and I still have shell colors to finish up and post.

Did I get every version? No.

From left to right we have 1987, 2003, 2007, 2012, 2016, 2018, and 2023.

Individual groups and turtles will be coming shortly.

I thought it would also be fun to have all of the versions of each turtle side by side, so here are those:

The asterix is the shortest turtle, and the double asterix is the tallest turtle. Of each version.

Now to put all of what I currently have in (you can see I started) and them fill in the rest.

After that, I can post for each version, as well as copying the version of each turtle to put next to each other to compare.
