ah thank you :] i think strattland (in the romantic sense) is …….fine. i feel about as neutral about it as i can feel about any romance i think is unnecessary. it’s not really my thing but i will say when i saw the movie for the first time i did think they had good enough chemistry that if they were to pull something like that it would be a lot more solid than a good chunk of other romances in other places and that i would be okay with it happening. i’m very glad that they didn’t do that but they did have a little something going on. i can 100% understand why the whole ship thought they were fucking.

however i really like it in the platonic/secret third thing sense…. one of my favorite genres of phm fanart is them going off by themselves somewhere and everyone else takes that as a conformation that they’re canoodling in their spare time and then it cuts back to them and they’re doing something completely mundane. or also when they’re doing something strange and offputting with each other and don’t even realize it. really gets me
