And HM and Porchey were childhood friends. He died on that awful day of 9-11. And who did the reading at his service? None other than Prince Philip. He trusts HM and loves her. And Andrew looks like Philips Moms family. People forget how hard it must have been for this man to believe in someone and give his heart to her. and to trust she would not leave his life.”
I feel utterly silly for not knowing this, but why was Philips childhood difficult & why was it hard for him to trust & give himself to HM?
I am going to sound like a broken record but........watch the documentary The Queen's Mother in Law. It documents it so well.Â
Philip moved around a lot from a young age because his family was exiled not long after he was born. They moved around, then his Mother was sent to an Asylum on and off through his childhood, his Father spent all his time away from Philip with his Mistresses in other countries and the list goes on.Â
