Big News, Brother!

Alyse wanted to tell her whole family about her engagement- she was done with secrets. Done with them. She’d been a bit nervous of course- her family seemed to all have rather strong reactions to big news... And hey I just got engaged. Was pretty big news. She was hoping to catch maybe one member of her family at a time and tell them... so she choose a time she thought that perhaps her parents would be out to stop by. She had been planning to come the day after crowning of the not-so-new king... but the reveal had her on edge and she was already nervous enough she’d opted to wait a little bit.
So she gave one little knock to let anyone home know she was coming in and then opened the door. “Hello? It’s just me~” She called and stepped inside. Her sleeves pulled down over her hands as she tugged at them nervous. Curious to see if she was right and hoping Alastair was home. “Al?” She told herself no more secrets from anyone- they ate away at her insides... So she had to tell them but she was quite nervous.
