I just fucking adore the way the Sims has handled mpreg with the aliens, in regards to the individual guy’s emotions. He’s always in denial about it. Granted It would be fun if, after one or more births, there was more of a ‘oh great, not this shit again’ or maybe with the right aspirations, ‘oh yay I’m SWELLING again :D’ like actually being happy about it... But no, it’s always. “I’m just. I’m putting on weight. Yeah. That’s it. I’m definitely not. I can’t. Be pregnant. THat’s silly. I need to hit the gym. It’s just a beer gut.” It’s always this firm denial and I fucking love it because eventually (at least with the 4th game) when he’s close to popping, it turns into “Something is definitely wrong!” and now there’s fear and more discomfort and trepidation and anxiety and just yesss bulging and cringing and wincing and waddling...
