Once again disaster will hit texas and our representatives abandon us. Cruz flees and Groogy Abbott focuses more on regulating bathrooms and thc products rather than the 160 people still missing. The rest of America thinks we're a hick joke. "The south put us in this mess." Have ever ever considered maybe the things that happen to us aren't our fault. Have you ever considered that there are innocents? Have you even THOUGHT to consider that we don't deserve to be taken from our families due to natural disasters. Yall laughed at us when we froze over. Yall laughed at us when we flooded. Maybe the majority doesn't represent us. Maybe the people who drowned to damn death didn't deserve it because of where they live. Who gives two shits if you hate the culture we have built up from shameless propaganda when there are people suffering and dying. Save it for later. If this was California yall wouldn't be saying this shit. If this was a blue state yall wouldn't be saying they deserved it. I may not live in the area that's flooding but texas is my home and texas is my family. There are still 122,700 trans Texans and even more undocumented but I guess them and the people dying in the floods don't matter. They especially don't matter to our legislation who would rather focus on weed rather than lives. They regulate us as "do not travel" and call it that. There are queer Texans. There are blue Texans. There are Texans suffering.
