#alien mod

Hi! I do not play my aliens in disguises, and while they don’t look like the one pictured here, it is pretty obvious that they are aliens. It really irritates me when my aliens get “discovered” by human sims, sometimes resulting in a relationship drop and an embarrassed moodlet. My super favorite is when I bring in a human / alien sim pairing and the human sim “discovers” his/her spouse is an alien. wtf?

So I made this baby tuning mod. There are a couple of other mods that alter this behavior and I will link them in the bottom.

What this mod does:

Human sims will no longer become confident or angry at the discovery of an alien

Aliens will no longer become embarrassed when they are discovered

There will be no relationship change (no drop, no gain) when a human sim discovers an alien

Basically, the whole alien discovery mechanic is essentially gone.

If you install this mod, aliens will be treated by the world at large as just normal sims.

How it works:

I deleted basically everything from the following two resources:

0C772E27!00000003!0000000000019877.loot_Relationship_Bit_KnowsIsAlien

0C772E27!00000003!000000000001C6AE.loot_Relationship_Bit_KnowsIsAlien_AlienTargetSim

If you download a mod that modifies these two folders, that mod will conflict with this mod! Do not use this mod with another mod that modifies those resources, or you may experience unexpected behavior.

Requires Get To Work Expansion (otherwise you won’t have aliens...)
