I’m just going to admit it to you guys: I was super offended when my friend referred to my sister as “casually witchy” and did not lump me in. Like what?! I do a tarot reading every day, I’ve done spells from my spell books, I’m a sucker for crystals, I tool around with Ouija boards, I listen to Coven, I go to a salon NAMED Coven (I’m not fucking kidding! But so does my sis. This isn’t a competition - she would agree we are casual witch equals), my mom raised us following pagan celebrations because “it’s who everyone else pulled from,” I read books about witches (like Witches of America. Holy shit! If you have not read that book, it is THE BOMB. Alex Mar is my hero. Just sayin’). What more do I need to do to be “casually witchy”?! I’m not full blown witch like his new friend. I get that. I’m not trying to be a WITCH, just a casual witch. But witchless? Do you see my hair? My coat? I’m writing a screenplay ABOUT witches. I am casually witchy, dammit! End trans.
