my dad and i are both insane and over the years we’ve established a bit where whenever we ask the other person for anything, we end the request with “…but i’d hate to be a burden.” and so this morning i asked if he could make me a coffee and that i’d hate to be a burden and his response was “yes, but being a burden never stopped you before.”

my dad just called me and said “come out on your balcony” so i did and then he threw two rice krispy treats at me and immediately left

my dad just said “you know, when you born… well, you remember, you were there.”

dad offered to have a weed gummy w me for chronic pain reasons. so obsessed w him

my dad is the most dramatic person i know and i love him sooooo much but sometimes when i’m acting out of pocket he’ll turn to me w the most disappointed, heartbroken look on his face and he’ll go “jesus did not die for you to be acting like this.” and it makes me lose my mind
