So, KPop Demon Hunters, anyone?

I know I’ve missed the hype by about a month, but holy crap this movie is so good! Literally cannot pick a least favorite song (That’s a lie, I can and it’s Soda Pop) and the animation is gorgeous! I’m not even that big a KPop fan but I was jamming the entire time

But I was relistening to the soundtrack one day and realized it kinda fits my main trio for my DnD story? Like not 1 to 1, but accurate enough to make me wanna draw them singing Golden, y’know?

Maybe if I ever get off my own ass and create a webcomic for them you’ll know why specifically this song and these characters fit lmao

I’ve been wanting to draw them all together for a while now, but every time I’ve tried I end up not liking it, or the designs of them end up changing, or something else like that. So I instead opted for individual headshots!

Headshots are always fun for me, since I don’t have to worry about a full body pose and can instead just focus on the shoulder-up details. (COUGH COUGH headshot commissions are only a dollar COUGH COUGH)

Anyhoo, everyone’s here! And they all look so cute in a lineup!

Hey peeps!

I wanted to draw Aleira some more, and I found this incorrect quote that fits her perfectly lmao

As a lot of people can probably tell, Aleira is the resident baby of the group. She’s sensitive when it comes to harming nature and most animals, and will not hesitate to start crying just so Belladonna won’t like kick a squirrel or something.

I also want to practice just doing base colors and shiny bits, since I think that’s how I’m gonna color my characters if I actually commit to making a webcomic. As much as I would love to make each frame as high quality as I can, I’m trying to only spend an hour on each, and I can’t do that by fully shading and highlighting!

So this is just me trying to warm up to the “unfinished” look of it.

Here’s another DnD OC’s post!

So, does anyone remember that drawing I did for Eurydice Meadowcreek? Aleira’s mom? Well, that drawing is stupid. I looked back on her design, realized I hated it, and did a full redesign!

She still has the same backstory and impact on the story, just a different face that makes way more sense genetically.

Eurydice’s other design had something I like to call: “Jessica Grey Syndrome,” where a parent character’s features are literally a carbon copy of their child’s. And while thats can be a thing, I don’t like having it in my characters. It feels lazy and unoriginal, and doesn’t make sense unless the kid is literally a clone.

So yeah. That’s that.
